Hi There! My name is Garrett and I created this Blog to share with you information about rocks, minerals and gems that I am fond of collecting. This Blog was inspired by my Mom and Dad’s Mentor who sent me a personal video, encouraging me to start identifying my passions now and documenting them by way of video. That Mentor is Joel Bauer – who has made a difference in my family’s life who encouraged me to find my passion early on and share that passion by speaking from the heart.

I Couldn’t Help But Rave About Mr. Joel Bauer…
•April 23, 2010 • Leave a CommentLast weekend, April 17-18, 2010, my Mom Emma Tiebens took me to attend a 2-day event called “Passion 2 Profit” by her Mentor, Joel Bauer www.Infotainer.com . My Mom took me there with hopes that I would last for at least half of the first day and she was so shocked that I lasted 10 hours the first day and another 15 hours the next day?
People were coming to me asking me how I did it? First of all, Mr. Joel’s teachings are very exciting and inspiration that it’s hard not to pay attention… second, I really just absolutely love my Mom that the opportunity to sit next to her while I learn is such a treat in itself! My Mom and I have such a special relationship that we can spend days talking, teaching and doing and to me it’s a lot of fun!
Mr. Joel inspired me again to focus on teaching children how to have appreciation for gemstones and how they too can become “Kidpreneurs”…
Watch out for my future videos – speaking more about gems and an amazing product offering that is so exciting and we know you’re going to want to share it with people you care about most…
If you have any favorite gemstones, please let us know so we can share them to our audience through this blog!
Till next time…
Keep On “Dazzling”!

Garrett Shares His Version of “The Four C’s”
•May 21, 2010 • 1 CommentI had lunch with my Mom today and we talked about what in store for Gemstone Kid… I apologize that I haven’t been diligent about bringing you videos because school is rather challenging.
I can’t believe it’s only 4 more weeks before the end of this school year! Second grade was a lot of fun and now I am so glad to see that some of my classmates and friends are all getting into gemstones!
Here is my version of The Four C’s… who said it has to be complicated?
